FLEWELLING DIES SUDDENLY Mr. Eugene Albert Flewelling, 83, of R.#1 Vermontville, died suddenly Wednesday morning, September 17, while visiting at the home of his daughter in East Lansing. He was born May 17, 1875 in Jackson County and had been a resident of the Sunfield area since he was 11 years old. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Mapes Funeral home in Sunfield. The Rev. Howard Lindsey of the Bismark Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be made in Freemire cemetery. Casketbearers will be Claude G. Van Blarcom, Harold Benedict, Carrol Benedict, Melvin Rairigh, Frederick Walsh and Theron Slade.
