Mrs Flewelling 60, a life long resident of Sunfield Township was born April 2, 1896, the daughter of Carrie and Irvin Neff and passed away Sunday (March 15, 1957) at Pennock hospital following a long illness. She had been a member of the Bismark Methodist church for 43 years. Surviving are the husband Eugene, one son Lloyd Steward and a daughter, Mrs Illa Cheal both of Vermontville, three step daughters, Mrs Velma Holton of Lansing, Mrs Vera Walker and Mrs Veda Briggs of Charlotte; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three sisters, Mrs Lena Gaedert, Mrs Florence Trowbridge of Vermontville and Mrs Ada VanSickle of Bellevue. Rev. Howard Lindsay officiated and burial was in the Freemire cemetery.
