Ernest J. Frantz, 91, of Good Samariton Retirement Center, Kissimmee, Fla. died Sat. 
Nov. 28, 1987. He was born Feb. 14, 1896 in Clarksville, Mich. He was the son of Moses 
and Sarah Frantz, one of 11 children. He was married to Bertha Lundquist on April 4, 
1919.She preceded him in death in April 1983. Mr. Frantz lived most of his life in the 
Central Michigan area, where he was a farmer and in his later years was employed by the 
State Highway Department as an Inspector. He moved to Kissimmee 16 years ago. He 
was a member of the Sunfield United Brethren Church.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Bertha Steward, Martha Gierman, 
Edith Cheal, Fanny Smith and brothers Ora and Ivan.
