He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Hallie Carol (Cook) Harford on August 4, 1983. Rex and Hallie were married October 21, 1935 and resided together in Jackson, Onondaga, Aurelius and Holt. Later Rex moved to Eaton Rapids. In the early years, Rex enjoyed playing the saxophone in bands during the big band era. He later worked in sever factories but was always a musician at heart. Those factories include Clark Equipment, Oldsmobile, Ryerson-Haynes, Timken, Amcotwist, Kelsey-Hayes, Allied Products, Grable and Sons, Parma Manufacturing and Evans Products. After retirement, Rex enjoyed fishing, gardening working on his car, listening to music, watching ballgames on television, and going to Jackson with his longtime friend Pearl Clark where they did their shopping together and ate dinner. He is survived by his son, ;3 daughters; 1 sister; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. We will miss you, Dad. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, 1991 at 1 p.m. from the Skinner funeral Home in Eaton Rapids. Interment will follow in the Pope Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9. dz
