Barney Kelly.
Services were Friday morning at St. Michael's Catholic church, Grand Ledge, 
for Barney J. Kelly, 84, of 314 Harrison st., Grand Ledge.  Mr. Kelly died 
March 13 at a Lansing hospital.
A retired farmer and employee of the Grand Ledge Produce Co., he had been well 
known for his roses in recent years.  He was a member of St. Michael's church.
Surviving are three sons, Patrick of Mulliken, Paul of Portland and Chester of 
Grand Ledge; seven daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ackerson, Mrs. Christina Finney, 
Mrs. Emily Summerfield and Mrs. Helen O'Connor, all of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Celia 
Litchfield of Fenwick, Mrs. Mildred Bryner of Bellevue and Mrs. Mary Thuma of 
Eaton Rapids; 41 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. 
Mary Dummond of Eagle; and several nieces and nephews.  He was proceded in 
death by a son, George.
Christian wake services were held at the Peters and Murray Funeral Home, Grand 
Ledge, Msgr. Michael Mleko of St. Michael's church officiated the services.
