OBITUARY: MRS ALONZO W. LAKE

Myra Gleason Lake was born in Roxand Township, Eaton County, Michigan,
March 20, 1854, and passed away at her home in Vermontville Township, May
31, 1927, being at the time of her death 73 years, 2 months and 11 days
of age. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Amanda Gleason.

July 5, 1878, she was united in marriage to Alonzo W. Lake of Vermontville,
Michigan. To this union one son was born W. N. Lake. She leaves to mourn
her departure, her husband, and son and wife, one brother, several nephews
and nieces.

The funeral was held at the home Friday, June 3 at 2 p.m., the service
was conducted by Elder J. W. Roach. Interment at the Freemire cemetery.

Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. W. H. Bosworth, Luther
Bosworth, Roe Deer and family from Grand Ledge, Al Bosworth and wife from
Lansing, Chas. McDowell, Luther McDowell and wife from Portland, A. Thompson
and family from Flint, Frank Pember of Detroit, LeGrande Freemire of Lansing,
and Miss Lucy Gleason of Detroit.
