Wright. She was married to John Lute, May 11th, 1865, and has since lived on the farm where she died June 30th, 1905. Five children were born to them, the oldest, Minerva, dying at the age of three; the others, Henry, Jessie, Myrna and Mrs Belle Flory, and her two little grandchildren were at her bedside to care for her in her last days. She was a patient sufferer for five years. About four weeks ago she had a stroke of paralysis from which she never rallied. On the night of June 25th she was taken with hemorrhage of the brain and after Monday morning was unconscious till death came to her relief Friday morning at half past one. In her girlhood she united with the German Evangelical church. She was a quiet unassuming person beloved in her home and neighborhood where she was always ready to lend a helping hand in every case of need. She will be greatly missed by all her many friends and sorrowing family have the sympathy of all who knew them. She was one of a family of twelve children of which four brothers and three sisters are still living. Mrs Sarah Sprague, of South Lyons and Mrs Elmer Morris of Stanton, sisters of Mrs. Lute, were present at the funeral, held on Sunday, July 2nd. Rev. Haynes officiating. Interment in Woodland cemetery.
