Martha J. Matecki, 82, of Charlotte, died Feb. 5, 1990, at the Eaton
County Medical Care Facility.

Mrs. Matecki was born in Detroit, the daughter of Benjamin & Mary
(Mitchell) Waszewski. She had been a resident of the area since 1959.
She had been a telephone operator and desk clerk before retiring.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar Society,
and the Happy Years Senior Citizens Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam in 1969.

Mass was Feb. 8 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Thomas Butler
as celebrant. Interment in Maple Hill Cemetery, Charlotte. Arrangement
made by Pray Funeral Home.
