Howard E. MEYERS, 71, of Sunfield died Sept. 7, 1993, at the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital, Ionia. Mr. MEYERS was born Aug. 8, 1922, in Sebewa 
Township, the son of Harold and Mattie BAILIFF MEYERS. He enlisted in the 
Navy, Jan. 7, 1942, and was honorably discharged Oct. 9, 1942. He had been 
a farmer, mechanic, Greyhound Bus driver, and semi-tractor driver for 
Howard Sober, Inc., retiring in 1984. He also drove a truck for Lake 
Odessa Machine Products. He is survived by his wife of 50 years; three daughters; one son; 
two brothers; two sisters,; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia MEYERS in 1990. 
Serevices were Sept. 10 at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel, Sunfield, with the Rev. 
Joseph Spackman officiating. Interment was in the East Sebewa Cemetery.
