Battle Creek paper:
Mrs. Eva Maurer, 89, of 124 E. Jefferson St.,Bellevue, died Friday evening (Oct. 8, 1965) 
at the home of her daughter, where she had been living for the past three months. 
She had been in ill health for some time. She was born in Nashville, a daughter of James & Henriette (Howe) Davis. 
She and Henry Martens were married Sept. 9, 1896, in Nashville. He died Jan. 25, 1916. 
She and Arthur Maurer were married on Oct. 26, 1933, in Charlotte. He died June 14, 
1944. Mrs. Maurer is survied by seven other daugthers; three sons; 34 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren 
and one great-great-grandchild. 
Friends may call at the Lehman Funeral Home in Bellevue where 
services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. William Brown officiating. 
Burial in Kalamo Cemetery..
