Portland Review & Observer June 13, 1963
Lifelong Resident Iva L. Preston, 84, Dies on Sunday,
Mrs. Iva Leone Preston, 84, died at her home, 317 Academy St. early Sunday 
morning.
Mrs. Preston had been a life long resident of the Portland area.
Survivors of Mrs. Preston are two sons, Boyd D. of Charlotte, Edgar N. of 
Shelby, Ohio, one daughter, Mrs. Edla Agostini of Portland. 9 grandchildren, 5 
step-grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
 Services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Neller Funeral Home 
with burial in the Portland Cemetery.  Rev. Robert Treat officiated at the 
services.
Bearers were Guy Jones, Herbert Schaffer, Wesley Davids and Edward Codding. 
Mrs. Preston was a member of the Methodist Church and had been a member of the 
W.R.C. the Rebekah's and the Past Noble Grands.
