Henry Potts died at the residence of his daughter in Chicago, February 14, 
1887, aged 93 years. He was born in Columbia county, N. Y., June 2, 1793. 
He moved to Monroe county, Michigan, in 1834, and to Brookfield, Eaton 
county, in 1837, when it was a dense forest, where he resided more than 
forty years.
