Helen E. (Howell) Paton, 68, of Bellevue, died on April 13, 1989, in Community
Hospital, Battle Creek, where she had been a patient for six weeks.

Mrs. Paton was born in Mackinaw City and came to Bellevue in 1953 from
Northport. She was a 1938 graduate of Northport H.S. From 1970 to 1980
she worked as a dispatcher for the Bellevue Rescue Squad.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years; two daughters; two grandchildren; and
one great-granddaugther.

Services were on April 17 at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue,
with the Rev. Fr. Tom Butler of St. Ann Catholic Church officiating. Interment
in Riverside Cemetery, Bellevue.
