Martha J. Pratt, 59, of Charlotte, died April 23, 1989, at Ingham Medical
Center, Lansing, after a short illness.

Mrs. Pratt was born in Olivet and was a lifelong Eaton County resident. 
She was a former employee
of Aluminum Extrustions/Hoover, Charlotte, and was a former Michgian Bell
telephone operator in Charlotte. She was a 1948 graduate of Olivet High
School, and was a member of the National Campers & Hikers Association,
a member of the Hayes Green Beach Hospital Auxiliary, and a volunteer worker
for the Department of Social Services.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years; one daughter; two sons; 11 grandchildren; 
one brother and one sister.

Services were held April 26 at Burkhead-Green Funeral Chapel, Charlotte.
Interment in Bosworth Cemetery in Walton Township. Memorials to the American
Cancer Soc.,Eaton County Unit.
