Mrs. Scott was Miss Allie Dewey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Dewey, and born in Brookfield, March 25, 1855, thus her age being 66 years, two months and 16 days. At the age of 22 years she was married to Eugene Scott and her life was passed on the Brookfield farm until about two years ago when they bought a fine home on Warren avenue, Charlotte and moved here. For several years she has been in poor health and for the past several months helpless and requiring constant care. Beside many other relatives and friends she leaves her husband, two brothers and one sister, and it may be truly said: Life's race well run -- Life's work well done -- Life's crown well worn -- Now comes rest. The funeral was held Tuesday, June 14, at the home, Rev. J. Zuyderhook officiating, and burial made at Olivet. There were many relatives present, which included the following: Edward Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Scott, Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Cole, Fred Cole, Wm.
