GRAND LEDGE PIONEER DIES AT BATTLE CREEK

GRAND LEDGE, Jan. 18 - Mrs. B.B. Smith, 74, died Tuesday at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Edgar Smith, at Battle Creek.  The body was brought to Grand 
Ledge Friday morning.  Services were held Friday at 1 o'clock at the 
Congregational church, Rev. Fred Errington officiated.  Mrs. Smith is a 
pioneer of Grand Ledge, where one granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Fry, Jr. 
resides.  Mrs. Smith is survived by four children, Mrs. Martin Fishell, who 
lives near Grand Ledge; Mrs. Edgar Smith and Mrs. Charles Nelson, both of 
Battle Creek, and Benjamin R. Smith of Detroit.
