Eaton County News:

Benjamin B. Swift, 71 of Charlotte, died July 21, 1988 at a Lansing hospital.
He was born in Vermontville Township, the son of Burley W. & Hazel (Oles)
Swift.

Mr. Swift was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army in the
South Pacific & Australia. He was an employee of the Charlotte Chair Company
before his retirement and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by four sisters; a brother; great niece; great nephew and a sister-in-law.

Services were held July 25 at the Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte. Interment
in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Vermontville.
