On March 31, 1915, she was united in marriage to Elmer Shaffer and to this union two children were born, Betty June, and Charles Alfred, whom with their father, Elmer Shaffer, a foster daughter, Mrs Louis Bosworth, and three foster grandchildren, her parents, Me and Mrs Gideon Bale, four sisters, Mrs Jesse Bosworth, Mrs Hattie Hawkins, Mrs Mae Shaffer and Mrs Anna Bosworth, a foster brother, George Pardee, and many relatives and friends mourn her passing. One brother, Louis and one sister Mary, preceded her in death. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Mapes Funeral Home, Rev. Don Carrick officiating. Interment is Sunfield Cemetery.
