Karl W. "Bill" Shaffer, 72, of Olivet died Dec. 11, 1988, at
the Oaklawn Hospital, Marshall, after a short illness.

Mr. Shaffer was born in Bellevue, the son of John H. & Luella M. (Boehmer)
Shaffer, and was a lifelong Eaton County resident. He attended the Olivet
Congregational Church. He was preceded in death by his father in 1929 &
his mother in 1979.

Surviving are his brother; one aunt; and three nieces.

Services were held Dec. 13 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Olivet.
Interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Bellevue.
