OBITUARY: JOHN SHAVER

Mr. John Shaver died at his home in Carmel Township, Monday, October 12,
of paralysis, age 88. He leaves a widow and six children, four boys and
two girls, all grown up men and women. Mr Shaver has been supervisor and
held other position of trust, was one of the most thorough going farmers
in the country. The deceased was a member of the G. A. R. under which order
the funeral was conducted. Interment at the Miller Cemetery, Carmel.
