OBITUARY

Miss Villa Smock who has been sick at her parent's home for some time past
died Sunday evening.

Villa Isaphene Smock was born on Sunday the 10th day of August 1881, in
Eaton County, Sunfield Township, and died at her home on Sunday, November
22, 1908, in the same place. She was 27 years, 3 months and 12 days of
age. Besides her father and mother she leaves 8 sisters and 3 brothers
to mourn her loss.

Funeral services were held at the Gates schoolhouse Tuesday conducted by
Rev. Eddy of this place.
