Mary H. Thuma.
Mary H. Thuma, 622 Riverview Dr., Eaton Rapids, died Friday, July 19 at the 
Eaton Rapids Community Hospitial.  Mrs. Thuma was born June 17, 1925 in Eagle, 
Michigan, daughter of Barney and Ida Kelley.  She was from a large family, 6 
brothers and sisters surviving.  She lived her life in the Eaton County area, 
many years in Eaton Rapids, where she worked in nursing homes and also worked 
at the Eaton County Medical Care Facility from which she retired because of 
poor eyesight.  She was married to Lynn Thuma; he preceded her death in 1975.
Surviving are 4 sons, Douglas of Arizona, Terry, Garold and Jay of Charlotte; 
1 daughter, Mrs. Karen Sleeper of Onondaga; 12 grandchildren; 3 brothers, 
Chester, Patrick and Paul Kelley and 3 sisters, Christine Finney, Cecilia 
Litchfield and Mildred Bryner.
Rev. Allen E. Cobb of the Church of the Nazarene, of which Mrs. Thuma was a 
member, will officiate at the service today, Tuesday, July 23 at 2:00 p.m. 
from the Skinner Chapel, interment will be in the Plains Cemetery.  Casket 
bearers will be Thomas and Norman Keesler, Douglas Gibbs, Alvin Finney, 
Charles Hurd and Robert Higbie.

Corrections: "Barney and Ida Kelley" should be Barney and Ida 
Kelly.  "Chester, Patrick and Paul Kelley" should be Chester, Patrick and Paul 
Kelly.
