OBITUARY: FERN TOWNSEND

Mrs. Fern C. Townsend 89 of 4318 Lansing Road, Delta Township, died Monday,
September 13, 1976, at her residence.

A lifelong resident of the Lansing area, she was a charter member of the
Maranatha Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter and a son; nine grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren;
and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 16, at the Maranatha Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Harold Reese, Pastor Emeritus of the First Baptist
church officiating. Arrangements were made through the Runciman Lansing
Chapel. Interment will be in Alchin cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fern C. Townsend Memorial fund
through the Maranatha Baptist church.
