Mrs. Lola M. Edgel-Travis, 86, of rural Sunfield, died Tuesday, September 8, 1987, at a 
Hastings hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Edgel-Travis was born Sept. 11, 1900 in Sunfield Twp., a daughter of Ora and Lucy 
(Collier) Turner. On Feb. 3, 1920, she married Henry Edgel. With Henry, she operated 
various General Stores in the greater Mulliken area and was at one time employed at 
Arbaugh's in Lansing. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1975.

Surviving are her husband, two sons and the wives, one step-daughter, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five 
great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Barker-Leik Funeral Home, Mulliken with 
Paster Duane Walter officiating. Interment was in Meadowbrook Cemetery..
