Gertrude M. Ward
Bellevue - Gertrude M.
(Hix) Ward, 70, of 21044 Junction
Road, died Thursday shortly after
her arrival at Oaklawn Hospital in
Marshall.  She was taken to the hosp-
ital after being stricken at her home.
     Mrs. Ward was born in Battle
Creek and moved to Bellevue three
years ago from Lee Lake.
     She was a bookkeeper and re-
tired from Paul A. Yeoman's Ac-
counting.  Formerly she was em-
ployed by Brenner's Market and Mil-
burn Davis Construction Co.
     She was a member of Convis
Union United Methodist Church.
     She is survived by her husband; 
a son, Laurence;2 daughters; eight grandchil-
dren; and three great-grandchildren.
     Arrangements are pending at
Lehman Chapel, Shaw Funeral
Homes.
