Ward, 86, of Bellevue died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1998, in Oaklawn Hospital, Marshall. She was in Battle Creek to William and Fannie (Johnson) Nuding. She worked as a nurse's aide at Leila Hospital, Lakeview General Hospital and American Legion Hospital. She was preceded in death by a son, Allan Manwarren, in September 1997; sisters, Mable Edgerton, Mildred Holmes and Dorothy Peck; and brothers, Harry, Harvey, Willard, Glenn and Clare Nudding. Community involvement, hobbies: Involved in Foster Grandparents program at Fremont and Ann J. Kellogg schools for the past 10 years. Member of Convis Union United Methodist Church and its Evening Circle. Life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7. Enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation: After 2 p.m. Wednesday at Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 5 p.m. Services: None scheduled. Burial: Cremation to take place at Oak Hill Crematory. Burial of cremated remains at Austin Cemetery, Convis Township. Memorials: Convis Union United Methodist Church.
