Bellevue
Laurence Alton Ward, 91 of Bellevue died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999 at home.

He was in Battle Creek to Leonard A. and Eva 
(Nicewander) Ward.

He was employed as a production worker at Kellogg Co. from 1940 until 
retiring in 1975.

He married Gertrude M. Hix in February 1930.  She died in 1981.  He married 
Ida G. Manwarren in April 1989.  She died in 1998.

He was preceded in death by a son, Laurence A. Ward Jr. of Newhall, Calif., 
on July 25, 1999; a brother, Clarence S. Ward; and a sister, Alma J. Stults.

Community involvement, hobbies: Member of the Convis Union United Methodist 
Church and Kellogg 25-Year Club.  He enjoyed farming.

Visitation: After 3 p.m. today at Shaw Funeral Home, Bellevue, where family 
will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. today and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bud Buchner 
officiating.

Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery

Memorials: Convis Union United Methodist Church.
