Gordon Raymond (1876-1953)

Additional Comments:
Gordon was the husband of Nina (Sheldon) Raymond.  Nina was the daughter of 
Frank Milford Sheldon and his second wife, Sarah Elizabeth Letts.  Gordon and 
she had three children.  They made a lovely couple; we have a photograph of 
them dated circa 1900; she sits in a rocking chair with a soft, knowing smile 
as Gordon kneels beside her.  We believe it may have been their wedding 
portrait. Gordon was a drummer in the Partello Band; a photo dated 1901 shows 
Gordon standing near his father-in-law, Frank Milford Sheldon (a clarinet 
player), and next to brother, Floyd Gordon (a trumpet player); the photo is of 
13 of the 15 members of the partello band; see
