WALTER M.           MINTA TIEDGEN
TIEDGEN               FRENCH
1881 - 1935         1878 - 1965


Note:  Walter M. Tiedgen was the son of Asthmus and Emily (Barnes) Tiedgen.  
He was born February 6, 1881 in Livingston Co., MI and died June 28, 1935 in 
West Windsor, Eaton Co., MI, cause of death Suicide.  He married Araminta 
Lucinda Pray on November 24, 1903 in Dimondale, Eaton Co., MI.  According to 
the 1900 Census records Ward 3 Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI,  they had two sons, 
Ernest H. born about 1910 in Michigan and Lucian W. born about 1914 in 
Michigan.

Family tree sources shows the sons to be Ernest H. Tiedgen born October 3, 
1909 Michigan and died Ocotober 13, 1973 in Brighton, Livingston Co., MI and 
Lucian Walter Tiedgen (no dates).

Araminta Lucinda Pray was the daughter of Freeman Galpin and Ida A. (Styles) 
Pray.  She was born July 20, 1878 in Michigan and died April 25, 1965 in Caro, 
MI.  She married Jay H. French on December 20, 1944 in Olivet, Michigan.

Jay H. French was the son of Henry Avery and Joan D. (Foster) French.  He was 
born November 24, 1876 in Windsor, Eaton Co., MI and died on July 14, 1954 in 
Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI.  He married his first wife Elizabeth in 1899 and 
they had a son named Ivan French.
