Note:  Death certificate shows Susan Elvira Stone was the daughter of Samuel 
A. Stone (Mass) and Lucinda Garfield (New Hampshire), female, white, single, 
housekeeper, born (not known), and died on September 19, 1898 in Dimondale, 
Eaton Co., Mich at the age of 45 years 5 months and 9 days, cause of death 
cancer. Burial was on September 20, 1898 in Dimondale, Cemetery, Dimondale, 
Michigan. 

Death certificate shows Lucinda Persons was the daughter of Cyrus Garfield and 
Hannah Russwell? (both from not known), female, white, widowed, housewife, 
born April 17, 1835 (headstone stones 1834) New Hampshire and died on February 
19, 1910 in Potterville, Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 75 years 10 months 
and 2 days, cause of death carcinoma of rectum. Informant Mrs. J. Sharp of 
Potterville. Burial was on February 21, 1910 in Dimondale Cemetery, Dimondale, 
Michigan.
