John is buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery, located at 801 Tullybrown Road, 
Charlotte, Michigan. He is buried near to the location of his parent's grave 
and the graves of some other Lings. I don't have the exact location in the 
cemetery, but if you make a sharp left as you enter the cemetery and make the 
first right and park, the graves are just to the right. His headstone reads:

   JOHN C. LING
BORN NOV. 28, 1861
DIED JUNE 4, 1891
