DeLand, born April 11, 1834 in Genesse Co., NY (couldn't make out the city name for sure), white, male, widowed, farmer, residing at 211 E. Stoddard, Charlotte, Eaton Co., MI passed away January 18, 1914 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 24 days. Couldn't make out the writing on cause of death. Burial Needmore Cemetery on January 20, 1914. Informant's name Eva Stebbins, no name given for father or mother, only that they were both born in NY. 1900 census Chester, Eaton Co., MI shows Sarah DeLand the wife of Bruce E. DeLand, age 63, born Oct 1836 NY, married 44 years, married in 1856, mother of 7 children and 4 children living. Also showed Bruce DeLand, age 66, born Apr 1834 NY and Alma Deland, Granddaughter, age 4 born May 1896 MI.
