1881 - 1974


Note:  James Benjamin Guinan was the son of Luke and Honora (Shannon) Guinan.  
He was born September 7, 1879 in Onedia, Eaton Co., MI and passed away April 
14, 1928.  He married Cora Estella Sly on October 7, 1900 in Charlotte, Eaton 
Co., MI.  They were the parents of Dennis Rudolph Guinan and Charles G. Guinan.

Cora Estella Sly Guinan was the daughter of Samuel L. and Ella Emaline (Rosier)
Sly.  She was born January 16, 1881 in Benton, Eaton Co., MI and died January 
26, 1974 in Grand Traverse Co., MI (SSDI)

She was also the wife of Jay P. Fox in 1928.  He was born July 2, 1877 and 
died May 2, 1943 in Oneida, Eaton Co., MI.

She was married a third time to Homer M. Hiesrodt on June 9, 1946.  He was 
born March 1880 and died October 26, 1969 Lansing, Ingham Co., MI.

Additional Comments:
Ben Guninan's headstone was located under a bush and was therefore hard to 
photograph.
