HAMPTON 1861 - 1935 HUSBAND C. L. HAMPTON (Charles L. Hampton) JUNE 11, 1856 - FEB 23, 1902 Note: William Hampton was the son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Jones) Hampton. He was born May 30, 1810 in Trumbull, Astabula Co., Ohio and died December 9, 1905 Gresham, Eaton Co., MI. He married Sarah M. Patterson on September 7, 1855. They were the parents of Henry, Charles, Frank, Luther, George, Melvina, Helen, Imogene or Emma and Marilla Hampton. Sarah M. Patterson was the daughter of Levi and Delaney (Delong) Patterson. She was born March 8, 1827 in Portage, Wood Co., Ohio and died September 15, 1898 in Eaton Co., MI.
