He was born July 29, 1820 in Essex Co., NY and died on April 21, 1895 in Eaton Co., MI. He was married to Betsey Elizabeth Maxson on August 16, 1840 in Jackson, MI. Betsey Elizabeth (Maxson) Skinner was the daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Coon) Maxson born October 13, 1816 in New York and died May 4, 1903 in Eaton Co., MI, cause of death Pneumonia. She married Perry Z. Skinner August 16, 1840 in Jackson, Jackson Co., MI.
