AGED 28 YRS

Smaller name stone located near monument:

Note: Did not see any headstone for John Aprill on the lot nor was his name 
inscribed on the monument.

Death certificate shows John Aprill (spelling on certificate) parents as not 
known, male, white, married, married at age 28, no children, saloon keeper, 
born February 22, 1844 Michigan and died on January 12, 1900 in Jackson, 
Jackson Co., MI at the age of 56 years, cause of death was caused by gunshot 
in the head. Burial was on January 15, 1900 in Eaton Rapids, Mich.
