Note: Death certificate shows that Charles D. Bentley was the son of Lyman 
Bentley (NY) and Amelia Fobes? (Ohio), male, white, married, mechanic, married 
at age 18, parent of 4 children, 4 living, born month and day unknown, year 
down as 1854 (Headstone shows 1853) Ohio and died on January 2, 1904 in Eaton 
Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 50 years, cause of death morphine 
poisoning. Informant was H. S. Bentley of Eaton Rapids. Burial was on January 
4, 1904 in the City Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.

Cemetery records also show Grace Bentley buried in the same plot who died 
November 28, 1901 Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois 

Also buried in the same plot an infant Margureita Bentley and there is no 
headstone for her.

Death certificate shows Margureita Bentley was the daughter of Arthur Bentley 
and Maud McQuinn (both of Michigan), female, white, born February 2, 1918 
Eaton Rapids and died on February 6, 1918 Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, Michigan 
at the age of 3 days, cause fo death indigestion. Informant Mrs. (cannot make 
out name) of Eaton Rapids, Mich. Burial was on February 10, 1918 in Rose Hill 
Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
