Note:  Death certificate shows James Orson Chaffee was the son of 
Daniel Kingsley Chaffee (France) and Juliana Burlingame (NY), male, white, 
married, occupation Hotel Keeper, born March 2 (year not listed but headstone 
gives year of 1827) New York and died on January 29, 1912 Eaton Rapids, Eaton 
Co., Mich at the age of 84 years 10 months and 27 days, cause of death 
paralysis Hemiplegia. Informant Mrs. Alwilda M. Martin, 15 Ferry Street, ?not 
sure of the name of town, looks like in NY. Burial was on January 31, 1912 
Rose Hill, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
