Ganong was the son of Chas Ganong (unknown) and Eliza Finney (unknown), male, white, widower, farmer, born June 24, 1838 Pennsylvania and died on March 14, 1912 Brookfield Twp., Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 73 years 4 months and 19 days, cause of death organic heart trouble. Informant Mrs. H. L. Collins of Eaton Rapids. Burial was on March 16, 1912 Rose Hill, Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Death certificate shows Nancy Ganong was the daughter of Daniel Thurston and Vashlin Clark (both of New York), female, white, married, housewife, born October 1, 1838 New York and died on November 24, 1911 Brookfield Twp., Eaton Co., Mich at the age of 73 years 1 month and 23 days, cause of death apoplexy cerebral.
