GREEN MONUMENT

The following headstone located near the monument:

ALMON SR.
APR 5, 1837
APR 1, 1901

Note:  Death certificate shows Almon Green Sr was the son of Nelson Green and 
Josephine Lake (both of NY), male, white, married, married at age 20, parent 
of 3 children, 1 living, born in New York and died on April 1, 1901 Eaton 
Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 63 years 11 months and 26 days, 
cause of death valvular heart trouble. Burial was on April 3, 1901 Eaton 
Rapids, Michigan.

Also buried in the same plot is wife Martha J. Green, and son Almon Jr. Green 
and his wife Agatha Green. I did not see any headstones for them near the 
monument.
