Initial stone:

M. M. & J. J.

Note:  Death certificate shows James Howard was the son of Patrick Howard and 
Margaret (both from Ireland), male, white, single, born September 12, 1832 New 
York and died on March 23, 1906 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan at the 
age of 73 years 6 months and 11 days, cause of death chronic heart trouble. 
Informant was M. ? of Eaton Rapids, Mich. Burial was on March 25, 1906 in 
Eaton Rapids Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.

Note:  Cemetery records shows Laurence Howard, Mary Howard and Laurence Howard 
Jr. were moved from old Cemetery on April 27, 1875 

Cemetery records also show a John Howard buried on the lot but there is no 
headstone for him.

J. Judson Huffman headstone is on the same lot and is laying flat on ground 
broken with missing year of death information.
