Note:  Carrie Malinda Crandall was the daughter of Joseph Hiram and Mria A. 
(Coats) Crandall. She married John Stiegmann on December 19, 1894 in 
Charlotte, Eaton Co., Michigan. She married Thomas M. Lovely 1911. Cemetery 
records show death date of March 12, 1956 and burial date of March 19, 1956

All the records I found have the last name spelled as Crandall but headstone 
has it spelled Crandell.

Death certificate shows that Joseph Hiram Crandall was the son of J. H. 
Crandall and Malinda Clark (both of New York), male, white, widowed, farmer, 
born August 6, 1833 New York and died on June 15, 1919 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton 
Co., Mich at the age of 85 years 10 months and 7 days, cause of death chronic 
bright's disease. Informant Mrs. Carrie Lovely of Eaton Rapids, Mich. Burial 
was on June 17, 1919 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Mich.

Mria A. Crandall-Crandell was the daughter of Justin P. and Harriet (Narmour) 
Coats. She married Joseph Hiram Crandall Jr. on October 2, 1872 in Marshall 
Calhoun Co., Michigan. They were the parents of:

Cora Mria Crandall 1873 – 1902 
Charles Hiram Crandall 1875 – 1875 
Carrie Malinda Crandall 1877 – 1955 
Claude Dennison Crandall 1879 – 1963 
Clyde Norris Crandall 1881 – 1964

Previous marriage to George Aley and parents of William Henry Aley born June 
18, 1866 in Marshall, Calhoun Co., Michigan and died on April 13, 1951 in 
Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan. Husband of Lily McIntyre with daighter 
Bertha Aley, Carrie Jones and two children and Flora Young. 

He is buried in Porter Cemetery, Marshall, Calhoun Co., Michigan. 

Death certificate shows that John Stiegman was the son of John Stiegman and 
Drace? Ricka (both of Germany), male, white, married, farmer, born September 
1, 1857 in Germany and died on May 17, 1910 Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Mich at 
the age of 38 (?) years, 8 months and 17 days, cause of death organic heart 
disease. Informant Chas Stiegman of Charlotte, Mich. Burial was on May 19, 
1910 Rose Hill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
