Note: Death certificate shows that Leonard Neuman was the son of Albert Neuman 
(Virginia) and Elma Fowler (Michigan), male, negro, married, gorn October 18 
1877 (headstone shows 1887) Michigan and died on October 18, 1910 Tuesday in 
Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 33 years, cause of death 
paralysis of Heart. Informant Mrs. A. Neuman of Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Burial 
was on October 21, 1910 in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids, Michigan. 

Death certificate shows that Birdie Neuman Allen was the daughter of Albert 
Neuman (Virginia) and Emmmer(?) Fowler (Michigan), female, coloured, married, 
married at age 19, parent of 4 children, 1 living, born Aug Wed 1876 and died 
on June 22, 1909 Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 32 years 2 
months and 19 days, cause of death Pulmonary tuberculosis. Informant Mrs. 
Emmer Neuman of Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Burial was on June 24, 1909 Rose Hill, 
Eaton Rapids, Michigan. 

Death certificate shows that Blanche Irene Allen was the daughter of Barnard 
Allen (Virginia) and Birdie Neuman (Eaton Rapids), girl, colored, born October 
15, 1896 Albion and died on August 16, 1908 Eaton Rapids, Eaton County, 
Michigan at the age of 11 years, cause of death consumption, contributory 
cause, curvature of spine. Informant Mrs. Birdie Allen of Eaton Rapids, Mich. 
Burial was on, date and place not written down on death certificate. 

Death certificate shows Nellie Allen (headstone shows Hazel G. Allen) was the 
daughter of Barnard Allen (Virginia) and Birdie Neuman (Eaton Rapids, Mich), 
girl colored, born January 15, 1898 Eaton Rapids, Mich and died on October 10, 
1907 Eaton Rapids, Mich at the age of 9 years 9 months and 14 days, cause of 
death Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Informant Mrs. Birdie Allen of Eaton Rapids, 
Mich. Burial was on October 12, 1907 Rose Hill, Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
