UPHAM DIED JAN 10, 1877 AGED 25 YRS 3 M'S & 26 D'S Note: Anson Upham date of birth March 21, 1814 in Berkshire Co., Mass and date of death June 6, 1876 Eaton Co., MI, son of Chester and Rhoda (Hinman) Upham. David J. Upham date of birth September 15, 1852 Michigan and date of death January 10, 1877 Eaton Co., Michigan. He was the son of Anson and Caroline (Howe) Upham. No headstone for Caroline Howe Upham - Below information from Find A Grave Contributor, Nancy Heib Birth: Apr. 29, 1818 Genesee County New York, USA Death: Nov. 5, 1905 Eaton County Michigan, USA She was the daughter of Ira Howe and his first wife Elizabeth ("Betsy") Sackett. ---------------------------------- Caroline was married on June 15, 1838 to Anson Upham (her step-brother), the son of Chester Upham and his wife Rhoda Hinman. ---------------------------------- Caroline and Anson Upham had five children: Rhoda, Mary, Sarah M., David, and Orin W. Upham. ---------------------------------- Caroline and her husband Anson Upham lived in Burr Oak Township, St. Joseph County Michigan in the 1850 and 1860 census. ------------------------------------ They then settled South of Eaton Rapids, in Sections 27 and 28 of Hamlin Township, Eaton County Michigan. ---------------------------------- Caroline died at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 7 days, in Hamlin Twp. Eaton County Michigan (per her death certificate). ------------------------------------ Her husband Anson Upham, her son David J.
