WIFE OF ALLEN COOK 1834 - 1901 ALLEN COOK CO B 1 MICH CAV WILLIE D. 1863 - 1864 Note: Allen Cook was the son of Henry and Katheran (Van Camp) Cook born September 8, 1837 in Ohio and died on March 29, 1920 in Holt, Ingham County, Michigan. His obitary says he was a Civil War Veteran and died at the age of 83 after suffering a stroke of apoplexy at his home around 3 O'clock in the afternoon on a Monday and died that evening around 7 O'clock. He was survived by a wife, four daughters and two sons. Harriet Cook's death certificate shows she was the daughter of Joseph P. Lewis and Orla Palmer(both of NY), female, white, married, parent of 9 children 8 living, born February 12, 1834 in America and died on August 28, 1901 in Windsor Twp., Eaton Co., Michigan at the age of 67 years 6 months and 17 days, cause of death Heart Disease, Exhaustion, Bronchitis and Dropsey. Burial was on August 30, 1901 in West Windsor Cemetery.
