This photo of Joel Jordan Sabin was taken by myself in June of 1976 on a trip 
to Eaton Co.,  At that time the cemetery was unkept and many stones were 
broken.  The photo of Joel Jordan Sabin, my ggggrandfather is now the only 
photo I known of as his headstone is no longer standing. In 2006 on a return 
trip to the cemetery, I found the cemetery now well kept but many stones not 
longer there. As for the one of Joel J. Sabin, I found it laying on the ground 
behind the grave stone of his son Bethel Sabin. Mostly cover with dirt. In a 
few years it will no longer be found. 
 Stone reads Joel J Sabin died 11 Feb 1883 age 92 years.  I believe he was 
only 86 when he pass on.
