ARCHIE CAMPBELL DIES THURSDAY
   Archie C. Campbell, 68, of Benton Township died Thursday at the Ingham Medical Hospital in Lansing, where he 
had been a patient two weeks. He had been ill with a heart ailment for two years.   Mr. Campbell was born in Bowling 
Green, Ohio, and had resided in the Charlotte area for 22 years. Coming here from Eaton Rapids. He retired two years 
ago as a hammerman at the Olds forge plant in Lansing.    Surviving are his wife, Catherine (Capelle) 3 sons, Charles 
of Diamondale, Donald of Mulliken and David of Sunfield; 4 daughters, Mrs Raymond (Hilda) Parkhurst of Mason, 
Mrs Dave (Helena) Mowrer of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and Mrs John (Betty) Smalley and Mrs Elam (Shirley) Hinckley, 
both of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs Abbey Osborn of Bowling Green, Ohio; 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Burkhead Funeral Chapel. Interment was in Potterville 
cemetery.
