Taken From Charlotte Eaton County Republica Volume xxlx ,Friday march 2, 
1883 
Place- West Windsor:  Joel J. Sabin was buried at West Windsor February
13, having died the Sunday evening befor.  Mr. Sabin was a much respected  
citizen  of Eaton County having lived here about 28 years.  He was nearly 
88 years of age and such was  his healtful vigor  that his  old age seemed 
to have done little to impair his intelectual faculties.  He is spoken of by 
his neighbors as an honorable industrious man, a kind neighbor and a useful 
citizen.
