Lovell to Mr. John W. Welch took place at the home of Mr and Mrs Fred Clay in Sunfield on Thursday evening August seventeenth, in the presence of about seventy friends and relatives. The house was decorated in white and green and the ceremony joining the two young people was performed under a canopy of white and green in the south parlor. The bridal party was proceeded by the two younger sisters of both bride and groom who acted as flower girls, while little Opal Green strewed flowers in the pathway of the bride. Rev. Mosher pronounced the words which made the happy couple one. Following the ceremony a fine luncheon was served and congratulations extended. The presents were numerous and fine. They will reside on Mr. Welch grandfather's farm near the Dow church. The Echo and many friends join in best wishes.
