Merritt, in Sunfield. The Rev. Earl I. Proeser read the service. Miss Merritt wore a gown of ivory crepe satin with white lace. Miss Hertha Merritt, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and wore a sleeveless gown of red and white silk crepe and Leslie Merritt, brother of the bride, assisted the groom as best man. For traveling, Mrs Romans chose a gown of wine colored silk crepe, Mr and Mrs Romans left immediately after the ceremony and following a short trip will be at home at White Cloud. The bride is a graduate of the Sunfield High School and of the Western State Teachers College. The groom has always resided at White Cloud except a few years in Grand Rapids and the time he spent in the World War.
